HARCO TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES DELAYED
DATA FOR THE MASSES:
London 12th November, 2001
The Harco Technology / Gatea Streaming Delayed Data Server (SDS)
has gone live with a major London Investment bank. SDS is being
used to provide delayed exchange information to the outside world
via the bank's web portal. Real time price information originates
in the clients Triach market data backbone and are delayed to the
exchange-mandated interval by SDS.
Harco Technology director Stuart Harvey commented 'From a customer
point of view one of the main benefits of SDS is that it is plug
and play with Triach. The majority of our customers want to leverage
their existing investment in a Triach platform in order to re-distribute
data via the web. At Harco Technology we see SDS as part of the
family of solutions for efficient market data use. We are already
working on extending the interface between SDS and DART to provide
an improved web metering solution' he continued.
