HARCO TECHNOLOGY GOES NATIVE ON TIB:
London 16th October, 2001
At the request of a major US client Harco Technology has developed
a native version of DART. 'DART for TIB' allows market data usage
reporting for 'pure' TIB clients who do not have the SRA or AFT
applications from Reuters/ TIBCO. Stuart Harvey, Director of Harco
Technology, commented 'the recent trend of mergers and acquisitions
in the banking industry has led to a strong demand for a common
usage reporting system. We now have customers with multiple market
data platforms - perhaps Triarch for equities and TIBCO for fixed
income. The release of DART for TIB allows us to unify usage analysis
for a client that has a hybrid Triarch/ TIB environment' he continued.
Martin Downey, lead developer on 'DART for TIB' said 'Our customers
can now report on unused services through one application regardless
of whether they are using Triach, TIBCO or proprietary platforms'.
In Europe Harco Technology is installing 'DART for TIB' with two
major banks at present - one in Netherlands and the other in London.
