This major customer of Harco Technology since 2000 has begun the
rollout of a global installation of DART. The client has five trading
backbones worldwide all using Triarch and DACS. DART will connect
to all of these and provide a consolidated global view of how market
data is being used. DART will permit the rapid identification of
unused services at an exchange, specialist service and vendor product
level across all regions.
"This type of configuration is increasingly popular with large clients",
says Leanne Brown of Harco. "Many global firms have one region that
specialises in the handling market data costs for the whole firm".
"DART allows the London based market data managers to keep abreast
of how data is being used in Tokyo, for instance, without the need
to get on a plane and interview the traders" added Brown.
